Bighorn has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing industry-leading ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, and electric vehicles in the United States since 1998.
The world's first 260cc ATV
In 2001, we made our first breakthrough in the powersports industry with the world’s first 260cc ATV. Featuring a liquid-cooled engine at an unbeatable price, the Bighorn 260 ATV combined performance, affordability, and durability in a way that made it a market leader.
First line of UTVs
Continuing our innovation, we introduced our first line of UTVs in 2005, further expanding our offerings to meet the demands of off-road enthusiasts.
The Bighorn 200 VX
The Bighorn 200 VX, the world's first compact utility vehicle (CUV), brought off-road durability and comfort to transportation vehicles used on farms, ranches, and in campgrounds.
The Bighorn EV5
Building on the success of the 200 VX, we launched the Bighorn EV5—a revolutionary AGM battery-powered vehicle that set a new standard in rider comfort and durability for personal transportation.
The Bighorn 200 GVXL
We enhanced the Bighorn 200 with the introduction of the GVXL model, which added a 2-speed transmission, making it ideal for more challenging, hilly terrains.
The Explorer 450
The Explorer 450 quickly became known as the most capable midsize 400cc utility vehicle, equipped with 4WD and a locking differential on demand for superior versatility in work and recreation on farms, properties, and hunting grounds.
The Explorer 450 Crew
In 2020, we introduced the Explorer 450 Crew, the world’s first 400cc-class crew UTV. This vehicle accommodates 4-6 passengers and is available as an electric model, featuring an 8KW electric motor for emissions-free, indoor-friendly use.
The Bighorn Explorer 550
After years of development, we launched the Explorer 550, a full-size crossover utility vehicle boasting a powerful 34 HP engine, front and rear locking differentials, and 4WD on demand. With options like EPS and heaters, the Explorer 550 is engineered to tackle the toughest terrains and most challenging jobs.
